These pages are templates which the user can customize when they register. The three main areas are:
The Stream – the middle column on the page shows updates
from connections in their Circles. The Stream allows you to post
and add filters to show only posts from specific Circles.
Circles – this is the creation of groups, organized on the basis of
who you want to create a sharing community with. Other users
can see a list of your Circles but not individuals’ names. This is

Google+ takes Google’s experience and excellence in the search
arena and marries it with personal information, preferences, likes
and dislikes, to better inform both the user’s search and social
capabilities. This means that Google understands your customer as
well as you do.
First, create a Google+profile or page. This is where your customers can find you so including all your relevant information is very
important and specifically your website URL for easy navigation to
your site. The next consideration is audience growth and content
generation, which Google+suggests are interdependent. They recommend frequent and fresh posting every three days in order to
encourage a growth in followers. Following these steps will move
your Google+account closer to verification. Verification means that
people who have received an email from you to their Gmail account
will be given the option to link to your Google+page.
The social annotations for the AdWords function allow people to
see recommendations from your Google+followers when you link
your Google+page to your AdWords campaign. Google+claims
that annotated ads receive on average of five to ten per cent more clicks. To maximize the benefits to your brand of Google+, you can
connect your webpage to your Google+page, using the Google+
badge. Google+claim that top online publishers see, on average, a
38 per cent increase in followers after the addition of the Google+
badge to their site.
Google+has a service called Ripples. Ripples graphically demonstrates data to show you who is sharing your content with contacts
and with what frequency. Ripples will allow you to identify influencers and the Circles that they influence.
Another key focus of measuring ROI on Google+is the link with
Google Analytics. Google Analytics can be manipulated to offer
reporting that demonstrates how Google+ is impacting on your
web traffic, inbound visitors and conversion statistics.
