Lenovo Vibe C is an affordable 4G phone
Lenovo Vibe C now launched in May 2016 by Lenovo and this is set to target the lower end of the market with it’s price and specifications. This device is now available in India through third-party online retailers and soon will be available on offline stores at Rs 6,999.
Lenovo Vibe series as its premium line of smartphones this is the Vibe X and Vibe Z back in 2013. However, it gradually brought the series to the budget segment. This is the latest leak points to the fact that Lenovo might add another affordable handset to the series called the Vibe C. This handset was spotted on a Croatian e-retailer eKupi, This phone is selling it for around $105 (Rs 6,900 approx) on pre-order with shipments starting from 18 May.
This smartphone replacement to the A2010 which was launched in India last year as one of the most affordable 4G handsets in the market. This Vibe C is expected to come with a polycarbonate body but would have a similar design as the recently launched Vibe K5/K5 Plus.This smartphone feature a 5-inch IPS display with a 720p resolution.
Lenovo Vibe C specifications say that it will run on a Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz which is a 32-bit chipset. There will be 1GB of RAM, possibly two storage variants (8GB/16GB) depending on the market, and a microSD expansion slot supporting up to 32GB of memory cards.
This handset will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top and will have two SIM card slots both of which will support 4G LTE. Other features are said to include a 2,300mAh battery that would go on for a full day, a 5MP rear camera with an LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP front snapper for taking selfies. The usual connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
