The current Mi Note, already a couple of months past the usual one-year life cycle, is due to be replaced some time soon and the successor will allegedly feature such a display. it is nice device, comes loaded with the best hardware available right now. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core 2.5GHz processor matches the current flagship devices from other companies, although the upcoming Mi Note Pro will use the next-gen Snapdragon 810, which is likely to figure in 2015’s top Android phones.
Xiaomi mi Note 2 will have a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP selfie snapper, MediaTek’s MT6795 (Helio X10) chipset at the helm, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 3,060 mAh battery. It will probably run Android Lollipop underneath the MIUI skin by Xiaomi.The other manufacturer that’s been mentioned is Huawei, and with costly curved edge displays destined to come in flagships only at this point, it’s likely we’re talking about a the future Mate, possibly the successor to the Mate S. Top quality materials have been heated, beaten and milled into a simple shape. The smartphone is built upon an aluminium chassis and Gorilla Glass 4 is used on both its front and back. Fine details punctuate the body, such as the square micro-USB port and the perforated stereo grille.Android running on the Mi Note differs drastically to the run-of-the-mill version found on other smartphones. It is less like an overlay and more like a forked version of the operating system.
The Mi Note is 4G dual-SIM smartphone. Both cards rest on the same SIM tray in a move that streamlines the design. It takes a nano-SIM and a micro-SIM, and the roles of each card can be defined in the phone’s settings menu that is very nice for users.
